Often times an author may not be ready to have their manuscript fully edited, but still might need help with aspects of their writing, such as characterization, dialogue, or theme. Other times authors might struggle with transitioning between fiction and nonfiction, genres, or lengths. Or perhaps an author might be ready to start trying to be published – or published further – but not know how to find markets, how to submit, and/or track submissions. All of these needs do not fall under traditional editing, but rather under coaching, mentoring, or support.
